Camping . . . again!

We went camping again last weekend at Newton Hills. This time we went with just the four of us. It was an "off" weekend for us and by early Sunday morning we were ready to come home. Three weeks of camping in a row just wears on the family routine after a while.
Roger and Callie found walnuts while they were playing by the playground. Callie needed to know what they looked like inside, so dad took out the hammer and broke open each of the walnuts.
Callie and Zachary hanging out!

By about 5:00 on Saturday night, Callie had fallen asleep in the lawn chair and slept for a couple hours. She woke up with a fever and didn't want to sit anywhere, but my lap the rest of the night.

That night Zachary woke up 5 times in what seemed like a very short 90 minutes. Finally at 1:30 I gave him some Tylenol since it felt like he had a fever. At 3:30, Callie got up to go the bathroom, but she couldn't see a thing and needed me to get up and turn the lights on. Which can all be done so quietly in a camper - yeah right! She then though 6:30 would be a good time to get up. Needless to say, we packed up and went home early on Sunday morning.

You never would have guessed that he had a rough night!
