On Sunday afternoon, we packed up the truck and the 4 wheeler on the trailer and headed about 2 hours south of here to the area where we hunt. We met Roger’s brother Rod and his boys and our friend Nate and his boys, mom, and dad. We had a fun and relaxing Sunday afternoon fishing, riding 4 wheelers, and eating.
Here is Zachary telling us a very important story when we first got to the property.
Grandpa Harry with one of the first catches of the day. Nothing big, but they sure caught a lot of them!
Justin with one of his many fish.
My nephew Tyler and Nate with their teeny, tiny fish!
Callie was trying so hard to keep up with Roger all afternoon. She was a trooper and hiked through all of the tall grass and sticks to be close to him. She wanted the chance to reel in a fish of her own.
Good job Logan!
Nate, you are a little too excited about that fish.
Zachary and daddy on a 4 wheeler ride. He could hang out there all day with daddy! Can you tell he’s a little relaxed? I was waiting for his eyes to close.
What a great smile! This little boy could be outside all day and night if we let him!
Logan and Grandpa Harry catching some crappies. Good job Logan!
Callie’s turn!
So brave! I can’t believe that she is going to touch the fish!
Way to go Callie!
Time to go home!
