Backing up a couple of weeks

So, once again I'm a little behind. We've had a lot going on . . . Backing up a couple of weeks to April 7 . . . it was Roger's birthday. I have no pictures from the day, but I picked up the kids from the sitter and took them to surprise Roger at work and have lunch with him. The jobsite he is working on is about a 30 minute drive for us. We loved surprising him and enjoyed a picnic lunch together sitting on the floor in the middle of the assisted living units he was building. For supper that night we had one of Roger's long time friends and co-workers over for supper (steaks, twice baked potatoes and cheesecake for dessert). It was a relaxing even hanging out.
