Alaska–I forgot what day we are on….

Most of Wednesday was spent driving from Hatcher Pass down to Homer. The scenery was some of the best we have seen since we’ve been on the trip. The guys checked in for their fishing trip and the rest of our time was spent roaming Homer Spit. The spit is the southern most tip of the Kenai Peninsula….often known as “the end of the road.” It’s beautiful down here and many things remind me of Washington. I could just sit on the beach for hours and watch the water come in and smell the ocean smells that I have missed since moving to Iowa.
